A three day offline hands on workshop on "Unleashing the Future: Exploring the Latest Technologies in VLSI design and Manufacturing." was conducted on 22,23 and 24 Jan 2024.
The FDP was inaugurated by Dr.Shalij P R (Dean Reasearch, KTU).
After inauguration the session was forwarded with Dr.Aiju Thomas( Principla,Govt.Polytechnic College ,Perumbavoor) on the topic Basics on Product Design. The session was continued with Mr.Vasanth K S(Senior Engineer,Samsung Semiconductor India Research) on the topic Familiarisation of VLSI design using Free and Open source tools.The afternoon session was handled by Prof.Jagadeesh Kumar P (Model Engineering College) on the topic Basics, Fabrication,Applications,design process and challenges of SoC and FPGA.
