At Mechanical Engineering Department,we have a resourseful department library for the students where they have the privilage to access the collection of books which could transform their analytical and technical skills to a professional level.Previous years project were kept as a reference for the future students.
Also previous year question papers , notes are available in this library.
INNOVATIVE EFFORTS
We encourage the students in coming up with new innovative ideas which are then transformed , reshaped into fruitful projects and products and this serves as their first step towards a future entepreneurship.
An astonishing idea , a smart switch for helping the aged persons at nights was made by a team of students in the year 2017 .
During the 2018 floods , small emergency lights using a single battery was introduced in no time , built and distributed to the flood affected areas.
During the Corona pandemic , our students of IEDC, came up with some innovative equipments, hand sanitizer dispensing machine. With the help of NSS , the same was installed at various govrnment body such as polioce station and panjayats.
Apps were developed for tracking the diesese affected and to track their daily health records and also to trace the path of disease. Also sanitizers from various chemical were created..
A touchless water dispensing uinit was also commisioned by Jai shankar V.P, HOD , ME with the team members being last semester mechnical engineering students Divek Martin, Fiby Tomy, Abhimanyu and Abhikrishna .

ADVANCEMENTS IN AI
The stduents have been doing a project for the identification of obstacles which is incooperated in a spectacle where the persons with blindness will benefit.
