      Engineering is the application of scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge in order to invent, design, build, maintain, and improve structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes.The department of Science  and Humanities is pivotal for engineering education.The department was started from the inception of the college.Its objective is to provide value based education to the budding scientist and engineers.

The department comprices four branches of study namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.
