Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. The field first became an identifiable occupation in the late nineteenth century after commercialization of the electric telegraph and electrical power supply. It now covers a range of subtopics including power, electronics, control systems, signal processing and telecommunications.
The department of Electrical and electronics Engineering, which offer a B.Tech degree programme, has an intake of 60 students in an year.
The department has well equipped laboratories to provide the students with the necessary and sufficient practical knowledge, besides encouraging them to try out their innovative research and development ideas.
